It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Ash (Bridgeport, West Virginia), who passed away on June 26, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Andrew Ash; his wives, Wilma Jo Ash and Shirley Frum Ash; his children, David Ash and Lisa Ash Gaines; his stepson Joe Helms; and his siblings, Donald Ash, Imogene Kyle, Nora Lee Gill, Dottie Helen Ashcraft and Irma Winans.
He is survived by: his parent Sona Maxwell Ash; his children, Jeffrey Paul Ash and Connie Ash Wetzel; his stepchildren, Robin Maditz Jones and Charles Helms; his daughter-in-law Diana Smith of Bridgeport; his sister Bernice Kimball of Uniontown, OH; and his close friends, Melissa Riley of Clarksburg and Mike Riley of Clarksburg. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
