It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Belle Keener (Bridgeport, West Virginia), who passed away on August 29, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Eleanor Marie Findley, Martha Jane Smith and Frank Earl Findley. She is survived by: her spouse John M. Keener; her children, Linda McQuain (Rodney) of Bridgeport, Duane Keener (Rita) of Bridgeport, Minda Duryea (Nick) of Bridgeport and John Mark Keener (Kathy) of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, Michael Keener, Tabitha Weaver (Josh), Todd Duryea (Amanda), Allan Keener, Karsyn Keener, Jason McQuain (Candace) and Derek McQuain (Desiree); her great grandchildren, Layla, Zachary, Wyatt, Chloe, Brady, Hunter, Trevor, Hayley, Titan, Violet, Colton, Olivia, Aurora, Rosie, Madison, Brice, Lucy, Julia and Owen; her brother Charles Findley (Jane) of Meadland Community; and her sister-in-law Connie Findley of Bridgeport.
Her life verses from the Bible were Proverbs 3: 5&6 " Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths." And Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose. She loved to sew, making clothes for her children and grandchildren, especially her daughters and granddaughters. She pieced and quilted many quilts, crocheted and knitted. As a Mom and Grandmother no one left her house hungry. She loved the outdoors, gardening, playing golf with John, traveling, and bowled on the Wednesday Coffee League for many years. The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Friday, August 31, 2018 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Hepzibah Baptist Church (Meadland Community) on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Alan Rosenberger officiating. Interment will follow at the Woodsdale Memorial Park in Grafton. In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to the Child Evangelism Fellowship, North Central Chapter P.O. Box 24 Kingmont, WV 26578.
