It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Augustine DeFazio of Bridgeport, West Virginia, born in Spelter, West Virginia, who passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna DeFazio (Moschella) and Aneillo DeFazio; his wife JoAnn Phyllis DeFazio (Tapp); his siblings, Marty "Ram" DeFazio, Joseph DeFazio, Sylvester "Sub" DeFazio and Carmella; his siblings-in-law, Benny Quinones, Virginia DeFazio (Ferella) and Dorthy DeFazio (Pishner); and his nephew Michael A. DeFazio.
He is survived by: his children, Beatrice DeFazio and Michael DeFazio; his siblings, Francisco "Frank" DeFazio, Anthony DeFazio, John DeFazio and Mary Hustead; his sisters-in-law, Angie DeFazio and Jackie DeFazio; his grandchildren, Morgan Jorgenson, Brittany Conners and Michael DeFazio; and his great grandchild Rowan Jorgenson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
