He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Pierce Helmick Sr. and Wanda Mitter Dye; and his siblings, Robert Helmick and Joy Dye. He is survived by: his wife Erma Jean Forinash Helmick; his children, Patrick Helmick (Michelle) of Moatsville, WV and Michele Helmick; his grandchildren, Justin Helmick (Haley), Austin Helmick and Samantha Helmick; and his siblings, Kathy Malcolm, Leonard, Johnny Dye, Deborah, Danny Dye and Todd Dye. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
