It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane O'Donnell of Brandywine, West Virginia, born in Sugar Grove, West Virginia, who passed away on May 28, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Hoover and Mary Hoover (Simmons); her husband Dr. John A. "Jack" O'Donnell; her stepsons, Jimmie, Joe and Arnold O'Donnell; her half-brother Emmor; and her sister June Stanley.
She is survived by: her niece Denise Stanley; her nephew Daniel Stanley of Centerville, VA; her brother Gernon Hoover (Myrtle) of Sugar Grove, WV; and her stepchildren, Ann Greenburg (Harvey) of Gaithersburg, MD, Mary Catherine Person (Tim) of Kensington, MD, Peggy O'Donnell of Kensington, MD, Sheila Conley (Kevin) of Kensington, MD, John O'Donnell (Jeannie) of Alexandria, VA and David O'Donnell of Laurel, MD. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
