He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Adkins; his children, Raymond Adkins (RJ), Marcie Holton and Jessie Adkins; his sisters, Linda Lester (Nuke), Lois Courts (Johnny) and Lorelei Sanders (Scott); and his brothers-in-law, Elmer Vance and David Vance. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
