He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer "Jack" Donahue and America Adkins Donahue (Merkey); his brother Lowell "Whitey" Donahue; his niece Sheila Donahue Cremeans; and his nephew Jimmy Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Browning Donahue; his siblings, Jerry "Shine" Donahue (Urna), Joyce Stender, Kathy Donahue and Jeane Johnson (Raybon); and his niece Robbie Donahue.
