With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Garnett Vance of Branchland, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vance and Erie Vance; and his children, Betty Lou, Joyce Jane and John Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis A. Vance; his children, Alex Ray Vance, Brenda Briengar, Mittie Cende (Paul) and Mona Kilpatrick (Randy); his close friend Janice Chaney; and his siblings-in-law, Maxine Ratcliff and Linville Ferguson. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
