He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pruett and Naomi Pruett (Cook); his son Richard Pruett (Fuzz); and his siblings, Richard Pruett and Gayla Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Pruett (Pitzer); his sons, James Pruett (Heather) of Beckley and Bob Pruett (Kristi) of Beckley; his sisters, Mary Davis (Ron) of Beckley and Trula Pruett of Beckley; his granddaughters, Sarah Burton, Autumn Collins, Abby Moody, Alyssa Pruett and Shelby Pruett; and his great grandchildren, Peyton Collins and Korey Burton.
