He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Floyd and Dora Wilson Floyd; his wife Bonnie; his sons, James and Danny; and his siblings, Mabel Persinger, Pauline Rand, Virginia Apperti, Marjorie Crowder, Frances Hooker, Robert, Russell and Jack.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Holmes of Princeton, WV, Ellen Holliday (Robert) of Forest Hill, WV, Larry Floyd of Bradley, WV and Terry Floyd (Pati) of Akron, OH.. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Throughout his life, James dedicated himself to his work as a contractor and made numerous contributions to his field.
