He is survived by: his daughter Vickie Smith (Bradley) of High Point, NC; his grandson Lacy Reed (Hannah); his great grandchildren, Rory, Reuben and Esmond of Cross Lanes, WV; his siblings, Samuel Meador Jr. of Pipestem, WV, Danny Meador of Pipestem, WV, Larry Meador (Yvonne) of Winston Salem, NC, Gary Meador (Terri) of Nimitz, WV and Barbara Begil of Proctorville, OH; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Lilly (Richard) of Princeton, WV and James Berry (Linda) of Princeton, WV. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
