He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Burleson and Winnie King Burleson; and his children, Dorothy Mae West and Ernie Burleson, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Regina L. West of Bentree and Reva Jenkins of Boomer; his brother Paul Burleson of South Carolina; and his grandchildren, Lori, Carrie, Angie and Ernie. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
