She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Blackwell and Gladys Blackwell; her husband George; and her sisters, Retha Hedgecock (Eugene) and Nellie McGhee (Henry).
She is survived by: her children, Craig (Angie) of Bolt, Cindy Patrick of Miamisburg, OH and William (Renee) of Beckley; her siblings, Eva Mattox (Bob) of Crab Orchard, Wanda Archer (late Robert) of Easton, MD, Robert (Sally) of Lakeland, FL, John (Judy) of Beckley and Sam of Austin, TX; and her grandson Craig Alan Ballard, Jr. (Buzzy). She is also survived by seven other grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
