She was predeceased by: her parents, Burl Hosey and Clara Clutter Hosey; her husband Alva Cogar; her grandson Stephen M. Cogar; her daughter-in-law Sue Cogar; and her siblings, Dorothy Baughman, Dollie Dilley, Elbert "Scott" Hosey and Hayward "Bazzle" Hosey.
She is survived by: her son Steve Cogar of Bolair; her granddaughter Elizabeth Short (Terry) of Frametown; her great grandchildren, Natalie Sue, Maddison, Maci and Trent Short; and her sister Mabel Giles (James) of Bolair. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many extended family, church family, and friends.
