He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard McComas and Helen McComas; his sister Connie Chilco; and his uncles, Bobby and J. L. Fairchild.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy McComas; his sons, Jeremy (Amy McComas) of Bluefield, WV and Justin (Kyla McComas) of Dubuque, Iowa; his grandchildren, Abigail, Isabella, Gatlin, Maeve, Ryklynn and Gannon McComas; his close friends, Susie and Sarah Shrader; and also Karen Myers.
