He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil A. Crockett and Nina H. Crockett; his wife Shirley Crockett; his children, Billy Crockett and Margaret Crockett; his grandson David A Crockett, Jr.; his brother-in-law Gordon Byrd; and his nephew Michael S. Byrd.
He is survived by: his children, David A. Crockett of Bluefield, WV and Nina Crockett Dickson (Michael) of Stevensville, MD; and his sister Norma C. Byrd of Sarasota Florida. He is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (401 College Ave, Bluefield, WV 24701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice Care of to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
