He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Butt and Hester Barrett Butt; his wife Barbara Jean Butt; and his sister Ann Snider. He is survived by: his daughter Donna Sarver (Terry) of Bluefield, VA; his grandson Zachary Saver (Jennifer) of Tazewell, VA; his great grandchild Caden Sarver of Tazewell, VA; and his sisters, Elizabeth "Sis" Streitenberger of Lancaster, OH and Bonnie Thimmes of Lancaster, OH..
