She was predeceased by: her parents, John Melvin Kestner Sr. and Martha Willa Mae Kestner (Adams); her brother John Melvin Kestner Jr.; and her son Joseph Farmer. She is survived by: her husband Berlyn Prater Jr. (Blue); her son Justin Taylor (Andrea) of Hyden, KY; her granddaughter Aaliyah Taylor of Hyden, KY; her stepdaughter Ashley Hill (Ben) of Princeton, WV; her grandson Jase Hill of Princeton, WV; her sisters, Mary Jane Kestner of Charleston, WV, Jennifer Truman of Sweet Water, TN, Darlenna Franklin (Curtis) of Bluefield, WV and Sarah Justice (Jimmy) of Hurley, VA; her sister-in-law Tammy Prater of Alexandria, VA.; and her brothers, David Tunnell of Lexington, NC, Timothy Tunnell (Keisha) of Dismal, VA, Nelson Tunnell of Marion, VA and Matthew Tunnell (Valerie) of Jolo, WV. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
