It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Rutter Bishop of Bluefield, West Virginia, born in Bristol, Virginia, who passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin I. Rutter and Marinda Frances Privett Rutter; her husband Earnest G Bishop; her son Earnest G Bishop, Jr.; and her siblings, Sue Crawford and Jack Rutter.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia "Trish" Bishop Herzog; her grandchildren, Logan Herzog, Lianne Herzog and Courtney Herzog; and her sister Gladys Gheesling of Wichita, KS.
