He is survived by: his wife Karen Martin King Epperson; his sons, Vinson Robert Epperson (Shanna) of Nashville, Brandon Epperson (Donna) of Woodstock, Ala and Michael Epperson of Norfolk, Virginia; his siblings, David Epperson of Tazewell, Karen Meadows (Fuzzy) of Marshville and Laurinda Stiltner (Leon) of Tazewell, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Nate, Jack and Sophie; and his close friend David Hancock of Bluefield.
