It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Brooks of Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on June 30, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Willard; her husband Rufus Brooks; her children, Debbie Brinkley, Johnny and Richard Brinkley; her stepson Larry Brooks; and her brothers, Willie Wright, Bobby Jo Wright and Donnie Wright.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Young (Jeff Young) of Princeton, WV, Pam Farley (Jimmy Farley) of Falls Mills, VA and Merita Moore; her stepchildren, Chip Brooks (Sharon Brooks) of Montcalm, WV and Susan Barnwell (Jerry); her daughters-in-law, Shirley Brinkley and Sandra Brinkley; and her sister-in-law Brenda Wright.
