It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scarlett Barker of Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on March 28, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur D. Taylor and Ella Gray Hodge Taylor; her husband Robert Harold Barker, Sr.; her sons, Robert Harold Barker, Jr. (Jessie) of Rock, WV and Timothy Lee Barker; and her grandson Gary Dalton.

She is survived by: her children, Kevin Barker (Karen) of Bluefield, WV, Keith Barker (Kathy) of Bluefield, WV, Charles Barker (Missy) of Princeton, WV, Beulah Ann Dalton (Donnie) of Bland, VA and Alisa Morrow (Glenn) of Cherryville, NC; her siblings, Anthony Taylor of Montcalm, WV and Mexie Horton (Carl) of Bastian, VA; her grandchildren, Andrew (Alicia), Caleb, Caitlin, Charles (Morgan), Frank (Britney), Candace, Daniel, Patrick, Abigail, Chris, MacKenzi, Levi, Kiara, Lilly, Peyton, Carmella, Jeremiah, Matthew (Brandi), Heather, Cody (Candice) and Breanna (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Anna, Amy, Jacob, Leah, Landon, Riley, Aria, Nolan, Harlow, Scarlett, Fletcher, Davina, Nakoa, Jeremy, Axle, Jayden, Jordyn, Charity and Brody; and her sisters-in-law, Elloise Taylor of Montcalm, WV, Evelyn Barker of Missouri, Phyllis Barker of Princeton, WV and Greer Ortiz of Texas.
