He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Don and Mary Belle Shrader Powell; and his sisters, Helen, Sheila, Glendia and Cora Ellen.
He is survived by: his wife Drema Sue Powell; his children, T. J. Powell (Sarah) and Julie Duncan (Jason); his grandchildren, Easton, Caroline Powell, Alayana and Brady Duncan; his brothers, Glenn Powell (Shelia), Dennis Powell (Carol), Ray Powell (Karen), Jeff Powell (Teresa) and Leon Collins; his brothers-in-law, Melvin Cline (Gail) and Calvin Cline (Bonnie); and his close friend Justine Powell of Iaeger. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
