He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland T. Phillips and Wanda Halsey Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Corthine Phillips; and his sisters, Marilyn Jean McKinney of Savannah, GA and Belinda Kay Mullins of Mullens, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
