He was predeceased by: his father Ronald J. Morris; his grandparents, Oscar, Mattie Mae Lewis, John W. and Ada E. Morris; his aunt Theresa "Nellie" Baskin; and his uncles, William Oscar Lewis, Michael Lewis, Rolando Amerson and Ricky Price.
He is survived by: his mother Ada B. Morris of Bluefield, WV; his wife Kimberly Morris of Aubrey, TX; his siblings, John Morris Thompson of Woodbridge, VA, Beth and R. B. Morris of Charlotte, NC; his half-siblings, Greg Simmons of Morristown, TN, Andre Simmons of Morristown, TN, James "Butch" Shelton of Huntington, WV and Sue Simmons of Bluefield, WV; his aunts, Gracie Mae Martin of Roanoke, VA, Anita "Honey" Lewis of Roanoke, VA, Clara Dickerson of Bluefield, WV, Rebecca "Becky" Lewis of Bluefield, WV and Corena Amerson of Washington, DC; his goddaughters, Allie Jackson of Roanoke, VA and Chelsie Chambers of Columbus, OH; and his close friends, Eddie Chambers of Charlotte, NC, Tyrone Murray of Gainesville, VA and Randy McNeil of Temple Hills, MD. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
