He was predeceased by: his siblings, Richard (Dickie), Jimmy, Nancy Childress and Beverly; and his father Meredith.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Meredith (Carson); his sister Janet Decker (Jerry) of Johnson City, TN; his children, Tina Pittman (Mike) of McLeansville, NC, Robert Meredith (Susan) of Pittsburgh Pa, David Meredith (LeAnne) of Abingdon Va, Michael Meredith (Heather) of Johnson City, TN and Leanne Linkous (Danny) of Bluefield Va; and his grandsons, Andrew Meredith, Logan Hollyfield, Zachary Meredith, Robby Meredith, Jacob Meredith, Trey Meredith, Eric Linkous and Ryan Meredith. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Baptist Church (401 Virginia Ave, Bluefield, VA 24605). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Memorial Baptist Church, Bluefield Va.
