He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Rose and Ethel Rose; his siblings, Lawrence, London, James, Lonnie Rose, Brenda East and Deborah Watkins; and his parents-in-law, Opal and Perry Sizemore.
He is survived by: his wife Glena Rose of McDowell County; his daughters, Tammy McNew (Rob) of Davy, WV and Tanya Rose; his granddaughters, Gabriella McNew (Walker Reed Jr.) and Kaylee Rose (Matthew Lane) of McDowell; his great grandchild August; and his siblings, Rosia Hurt (Lennie), Martha Mullins (Dave), Shirly Eachus (Tim) of Princeton, WV, Jerry Rose and Oley Rose of Bluefield, WV. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
