He was predeceased by: his wife Faye; his brother Jerry; and his parents, Jay Vincent Cregger and Elta Price. He is survived by: his children, Kaye Hare (Arch) of Hickory, NC and Jay Cregger (Margie) of Basset, VA; his sister Carolyn Keller of Salem, VA; his grandchildren, Zachary Barringer of Hickory, NC, Beth Morton (Keith) of Little Creek, SC and Molly Hare of Hickory, NC; and his caregivers, Hope, Angie, Barbara and Sheila. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
