He is survived by: his sister Rena Haynes Gibson of Stuarts Draft, VA; his nieces and nephews, Rebecca Elliott (Mike) of Bristow, VA, Virginia Cadd Grissom (Israel) of Patrick County, VA, Lisa Cox of Nashville, TN, Shari Cox Parker (Mark), Gary Haynes (Kathy) of Staunton, VA, Robert Canterbury (Kim) of Troutville, VA and David Canterbury; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashleigh Elliott Iszard (Alex) of Manassas, VA, Elizabeth Parker of Lascassus, TN, Courtney Canterbury Ashby (Mark) of Troutville, VA, Morgan Canterbury Bowles (Zach), Krissie Haynes, Kimberly Haynes, Samantha Cadd Montgomery, Travis Cadd and Phillip Haynes; and his sister-in-law Diane Canterbury of Jerusalem, AR.. He is also survived by numerous great-great nieces and nephew; brother-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1003 Wyoming St, Bluefield, WV 24701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Bluefield Memorial Post VFW or to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
