He is survived by: his children, Keith (Haley), Kevin Brock, Kathi Cowan (John) of Bluefield, Emma Rasi (David) of Princeton and Ruthe Cowan (Chris) of Winston-Salem; his grandchildren, David, Morgan, Rylee, Allyson, NeVaeh, Bella, Roman and Bhodi; his great grandchildren, Katherine, Andrea and Dylan; his siblings, Linda Lukah of Lincolnton, NC, Brenda Jones of Raleigh, NC and Bill Eldreth (Phyllis) of Roanoke, VA.; his nephews, Kent and Jimmy; and his niece Karen.
