It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ramona Spears of Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Ramona's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Yvonne Addair (Beckner) and William "Bone" Addair; her husband Ernest Elisha Spears; her daughter Angel Spears; her sister Patricia "Peachy" Rife (Addair); and her niece Kimberly Rowe.
She is survived by: her son Ernest "Ernie" Spears (Rhonda); her granddaughters, Jasmine Nicole Spears and Kaitlyn Rose Spears; her sister Bonnie Rowe; her brother-in-law Randy Rowe; and her close friend Sharon Rife. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fanning Funeral Home (4299 Coal Heritage Rd, Iaeger, WV 24844). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
