It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oma Jean Thompson of Bluefield, West Virginia, born in Alderson, West Virginia, who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Overton Otto and Melva Blanche Hughes Thompson; and her siblings, Bill Thompson, Margaret Ann Angell, Charles Thompson, Dave Thompson, Fred Thompson, Bob Thompson and Kenneth Thompson.
She is survived by: her pets, Cody and Kasey; and her siblings, Carol Rudisill (David) of Barger Springs, Ronald Thompson of Alderson, Benny Thompson (Janice) of Griffith Creek and Gary Thompson (Ruth) of Lewisburg. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
