She was predeceased by: her husband Bob L. Hedrick; her parents, Dophus Mefford and Gertrude Mefford; and her sister Sandra. She is survived by: her nieces, Carla and Sherry; and also, Elizabeth, Janet, Jackie, Jim Wilkinson, Debbie and John Crist.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fincastle Presbyterian Church, Bluefield, VA.
