It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Norma Harless of Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away at the age of 94, on December 3, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert West and Nancy West Davison; her husband Clayton Thompson (Orville Harless) of Bluefield; her son Bruce Thompson of Bluefield; and her children-in-law, Randy Compton of Kernersville and Robin Thompson of Bluefield.
She is survived by: her children, Delores Compton (Dee) of Kernersville, NC, Brenda Thompson of Homosassa, FL and James Randall Thompson (Randy) of Bluefield, WV. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Sugar Sticks singing group and the Kernersville YMCA where she attended water aerobics 2-3 times per week before the covid epidemic occurred.
