She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robbins, Sr. and Nina Robbins; and her brother Carl Robbins, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Clifford Thompson; her children, Jeremiah Markcum, Maggie Riggs and Lawrence Riggs; her stepchildren, Donna Lynn Thompson and Steven Thompson; her brother James Robbins, Jr.; her stepbrother Jimmy Wall; her stepmother Saretha Stone; and her nephews, Brandon Robbins and Carl Robbins, Jr.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
