He is survived by: his sons, Jefferson Umberger of Bluefield, WV, Jonny Umberger (Faith) of Bluefield, WV and Joshua Umberger (Courtney) of Athens, WV; his siblings, Christopher Malcolm Umberger of Bluefield, WV, Jason Alexander Umberger of Bluefield, WV, Bertha Evelyn Stanley of Bluefield, WV, Pamela Renee Rollyson of Summersville, WV and Melissa Ann Umberger of Bluefield, WV; his grandchildren, Hunter Lee Hancock, Tucker Ray Hancock Umberger, Kinsley Marie Umberger, Wilder Skipworth, Kristen Umberger and Jensen Umberger; and his niece Brooklyn Beylan Nicole Coates.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home (3431 Coal Heritage Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701).
