He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Dove Anderson; his sons, Merv Anderson and Denny Anderson; his brothers, Henry Anderson and Harry Anderson; and his grandsons, Brandon James Tolliver and Cameron Tolliver.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Tolliver of Bluefield, WV, Rick Anderson of Bluefield, WV and Jeff Anderson of Salem, VA; and his sister Frances White of Princeton, WV. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
