With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melissa Gail Taylor Parr of Bluefield, West Virginia, born in Pulaski, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 14, 2024 at the age of 51. She was predeceased by: her father Sammy Asbury; her brothers, Terry and William Pracker Asbury; her brother-in-law Jason Parr; and her mother-in-law Claudia Lee Parr.
She is survived by: her mother Freda Asbury; her husband Mark Everett Parr; her children, Chad Asbury, Brandon Taylor, Tiffany Asbury, Shannon Taylor and Christina Taylor; and her siblings, Jay Taylor, Jamey, Lewis, Samuel Asbury, Laura Duncan and Amy Lewis. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
