She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carter and Nortie Lambert Carter; her husband Ual J. Thompson; her granddaughter Tara Thompson; and her brother Bob Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Eual Thompson (Pamela Bryant Thompson) of Bluefield, WV and Pamela Thompson White of Falls Mills, VA; her grandchildren, Sherri Sparks, Jenny Thompson, Stephanie McKinney, Angela Groseclose and Robin Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Brittany, Kayla, Christopher, Laken, Devonte, Brianna, Kaeden, Teddi, McKayla and Christian.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Amedisys Hospice at 545 Airport Rd Suite 201, Bluefield, WV 24701.
