With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark David Thompson of Bluefield, West Virginia, born in Princeton, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 4, 2024 at the age of 58. He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Kade Thompson. He is survived by: his father William Thompson; his brothers, Randell Thompson of Bluefield, WV and Douglas Thompson of Princeton, WV; his cousins, Connie Kade of Wilmington, DE and Dennis Kade (Deborah) of Daytona Beach, FL; his daughter Elizabeth Kade Haskins (Greg); his granddaughter Virginia Mae of Murrells Inlet, SC; his daughter Lauren Kade Schrock (Laverne); his grandchild Declan of Staunton, VA; and his close friends, Dwight, Nancy of Bluefield, VA, Blaine, Debbie of Wright Mtn, Kristy, Jessee and Reggie.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Mark's memory to the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 2059 Wright Mtn.
