She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Richard Clendenin and Myrtle Margaret Lambert Clendenin; her sons, Paris George Clendenin and James Gillespie; and her brother Herb Clendenin.
She is survived by: her son Charles Richard Lee Clendenin of Bluefield, WV; her stepson Orville Brinkley of Princeton, WV; and her daughters, Sophia Christine Hall of Springville, VA, Evenlyn Lewis of Springville, VA, Mickey Gillespie (Tim Brooks) of Bluefield, WV, Barbara Hagy of Princeton, WV, Mary Ratliff (Charles Cornwell) of Wrights Valley, VA, Martha Burnette (Jerry Wayne Anderson) of Princeton, WV and Margaret Jones (Robert) of Bluefield, VA.. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
