She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Brooks and Nora Jane Patton Brooks; her brother Ray Brooks; and her nephew Darrell Caldwell. She is survived by: her sister Velma Lee Caldwell of Bluefield; her sister-in-law Sue Brooks of Radford, Virginia; and her nieces and nephews, Duane (Margaret Caldwell), Danny Caldwell of Washington, Pennsylvania, Byron Ray "Chuck" (Delores Brooks), Nancy Caldwell Slade of Bluefield and Tammy Sue Brooks Karnes of Princeton. She is also survived by four great nieces, two great nephews, three great-great nieces and six great-great nephews.
