It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Byrd of Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Poole and June Moye Poole; her husband Billy Byrd; her son Keith Byrd; and her sister Beverly.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicky Sizemore (Dale) of Bluefield, WV and Leila Haynes (Zach) of Bluefield, WV; her siblings, Randall Poole of Lady Lake, FL and Pam Russo (Frank) of Bowie, MD; her grandchildren, Brianne McKinney (Brandon), Jessica Sizemore, Jarrod Sizemore (Nicole), Derrick Rathell (Nichole), Zachary Chappell, Laken Dillon (Eli), Desera Gunnoe (Chris) and Dacota Byrd (Whitney); her great grandchildren, Braelyn, Kenley, Harper, Kennedy, Delayna, Kaylee, Kayden, Michael, Piper and Colton; and her granddaughter Frances Walker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and a large extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home (1612 Honaker Ave, Princeton, WV 24740). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
