He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Louise Burks; his children, Timothy Larry Burks (Angela) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Tammy Johnson (Roger) of Dandridge, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Joshua Lyons (Shannon) of Shady Side, Adam Burks of Pineville, Cortnee Irick (Tyler) of Maple Meadow, Jacob Aaron Counts of Jesse, Sheena Knight (Michael) of Hamptonville, Nathan Johnson (Jessica) of Shady Spring, Alexis and Alex Jordan of Gilbert; his great grandchildren, Karli, Paxton, Kyleigh, Tegan, Annabell, Lorelei and John; and his sister Mildred Roark of Kentucky.
