He was predeceased by: his son Alan Blake; his parents, Gertrude Lockhart Muncy and Squire Washington Muncy; and his sister Rae Muncy Sturges. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Gibson Muncy; his sons, Shannon Patrick (Mary) of Greensboro, NC and Shea Preston (Traci) of Narrows, VA; his grandchildren, Erica of Narrows, Ethan and Evan of Greensboro; his sister Mildred Hartsock; and his nieces and nephews, Sparkle Billings of Salem, VA, Robbi Hartsock of Catonsville, MD, Ronald Sturges of Alexandria, VA and Donald Sturges of Tazewell, VA..
