He was predeceased by: his parents, Jules Delano and Fannie E. Pennington Stassin; his wife Cynthia Renae Clemons Stassin; his sons, Kevin and Steve Stassin; and his siblings, Garnet Stassin, Matthew Stassin, Sue Coeburn, Gertrude Smith and Virginia Stevenson.
He is survived by: his son Michael Stassin (Anna) of Salem, VA; his grandchildren, Chelsa Stassin of Christiansburg, VA, Summer Stassin of Salem, VA, Tori Stassin of Salem, VA, Kevin Stassin of Radford, VA and Jules Stassin of Salem, VA; and his great grandchild Athena Stassin.
