It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Preston Davidson Jr. of Bluefield, West Virginia, born in Bluefield, Virginia, who passed away on October 2, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Preston Davidson and Ruby Lee Suiter Davidson; his stepmother Sally Litz Davidson; his grandsons, John Joseph Earls of Atlanta, GA and John Frederick Earls III of Bluefield, WV; his great grandchild Kendra Jade Earls; his wife Virginia "Ginny" Wagner Davidson; his daughter Ruby Davidson Earls; his brother Suiter Crocket Davidson; and also, John Goolman and Mary Draper Davidson. He was also cherished by numerous other nephews and nieces.
