He was predeceased by: his parents, William Payne Steptoe and Kathleen Brown Steptoe; and his siblings, Florence, Willie Mae, Larry and James (Fuzzy).
He is survived by: his wife Sabrina Renee Steptoe; his children, Quinton, Derrick, Breonia Steptoe, John and Johnette Steptoe; and his siblings, William "Henry", Anthony "Smirk", Eugene "Wennie", Juanita "Wanda", Wayne "Adam" (Tina), David (Cheryl), Michael (Amanda) and Leda Steptoe. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
