He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice McGhee Atkins of Bluefield; his children, Vonda Atkins Boothe (Ernie) of Sinks Grove, WV and John Dwayne Atkins (Melissa Mullins Atkins) of Tazewell, VA; his grandchildren, John Derek Bostic (Jessica) of Union, KY, Jordonne Mariah Bostic of Alderson, WV, Katelyn Rose Bostic (Mitchell Thompson) of Alderson, WV, Jeremiah Brannon Bostic, Brandon Lucas Boothe of Fort Springs, WV, Leslie Marie Mullins (Lance) of Tazewell, Luke Dwayne Atkins (Chelsea) of North Tazewell, VA and Landon Ward Atkins of North Tazewell, VA; and his siblings-in-law, Rachel (Sam Dickson), Arthur (Wanda McGhee) and Aubrey (Judy McGhee). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
