He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton H. Caudill and Nettie Baber Caudill; and his sister Edie Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Peak Caudill; his children, John Daniel Caudill, Jr. (Amy) and Kimberly Dawn Basham (Eric); his sisters, Diana Bowling (Tim), Clara Akers (late Ronald), Geneva Looney (Junior), Mary Woody (late Bobby) and Vickie Carosi (Mark); his grandchildren, Justin T. Caudill, Alexus Basham, Annie Caudill, Payton Basham and Riley Caudill; and his great grandchild Finley Caudill.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Cravens-Shires Funeral Home.
